Alie began her professional career practicing in Tennessee for seven years. She served as  senior associate of a general firm charged with leading their civil as well as probate and estate practices.

Eventually, Alie returned to her home state of Kentucky where she worked in concentrated healthcare compliance for two years. Alie became a certified healthcare compliance officer with a concentration in coding, billing and collections. She developed a compliance program and provided associated training for healthcare providers at HealthPoint Family Care, where she served as general counsel (2017-2018)

She has dedicated her career to researching and expanding her knowledge of the intricate laws surrounding collections, especially in healthcare. Alie holds her bar license in the states of Kentucky and Tennessee and is very active in her local bar associations speaking at a number of events.
