Sarah currently heads our West Virginia office. Sarah began her practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia focusing on both criminal defense of felonies and misdemeanors and civil litigation focusing on corporate and general civil litigation, negotiable instruments, banking/UCC law, domestic relations, collections, landlord/tenant issues and contract disputes. In 2006, Sarah moved back home to West Virginia and began practicing solely in the fields of both non-judicial and judicial foreclosure, bankruptcy and evictions, making this her area of expertise. Sarah also has experience in title curative litigation, and code compliance issues. Sarah currently serves as a member of the District 14 Character Committee for the West Virginia Board of Law Examiners. Sarah volunteers at and is a former board member of the Mountaineer Autism Project, which provides information and resources to West Virginians interested in evidence-based treatment for autism. She regularly supports Steppingstones, a nonprofit providing recreation programs for Children and Adults with Disabilities. Sarah is also a proud alumni member of the West Virginia University marching band.
